The distribution of fine rice under the Sanna Biyyam Scheme will be started by the government on 31 March 2025. The low-quality rice which has been refused by the people will be replaced. - The main agenda for the introduction of the Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme for Ration Card Holders is to provide high-quality rice and food security among the poor people of the state.
- The scheme will be launched on 31st March 2025 by the Telangana state government and around 3.2 crore beneficiaries which is 84% population of the state have been identified by the government who will avail the scheme benefit.
